The Haan Museum of Indiana Art (once the Connecticut State Building), was dismantled, numbered, and send by the Wabash Railroad to Lafayette after Mr. William Potter bought the building for his wife, Fannie.

The Potters decided to purchase property on State Street and the rest was history!
