The Haan Museum of Indiana Art (currently officially named the Robert L. and Ellen E. Haan Museum of Indiana Art) is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization under the IRS code. As such, all donations are tax deductible. The Haans donated the mansion and grounds to the Museum in July of 2015, and the Board of Directors and Executive Director are responsible for maintaining the facility and programs. The Board of Directors of the Haan Museum has established an endowment fund whose income can eventually cover a significant portion of the ongoing annual expenses of operating the Museum.
There are four ways to donate to the Haan Museum of Indiana Art
- Haan Museum Current Operations
- Haan Museum Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette
- Marshall Endowment for the Haan Museum at the Clinton County Community Foundation
- Haan Museum Piano Restoration Fund
When you donate to the Haan Museum Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette or the Marshall Fund at the Clinton County Community Foundation, the Museum will receive an annual check from each Community Foundation to help cover operating expenses. Note that the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette shows the name of donors, but not the amount of the gift. If you would like us to know the amount, please send us an e-mail with the amount, so we can thank you.
