How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased here on our website or at the door. If you're purchasing tickets from our website, be sure to print your receipt and bring it with you the day of your visit for entry into the Museum.
Tickets for ticketed events, such as "Lunch & Learn" and "Sweet on Art" can be purchased online.
How long does it take to tour the Museum?
Typically, it takes guests anywhere from 75-90 minutes to tour both floors of the Museum. You may also want to allow time to stroll through the sculpture garden or explore the nature trail.
Where do we park?
There is limited parking in the Museum parking lot next to the Carriage House. On-street parking is also available. Please do not park on the grass.
Can I get a refund if my plans change?
Most tickets are not for specific dates, and can be used when desired. There are no refunds after tickets have been purchased.
Can we bring our young children?
Children under 5 are not allowed inside the Museum, except at Christmas, due to the many fragile objects within easy reach. Christmas tours are family-friendly, and feature trains and hands-activities for children. The sculpture garden is a great place for young children any time.
Is the Museum accessible for walkers and wheelchairs?
The Museum is wheelchair-accessible by a ramp. There is a small elevator inside so that most guests can easily get to the second floor. The elevator is not big enough for large scooters. There is also a wheelchair-accessible restroom on the second floor.
Do we need reservations?
You do not usually need reservations for tours. However, we suggest that you call ahead and let us know in advance if you have a group of eight or more, so that we can have enough docents available. If you have an even larger group, you might want consider scheduling a special tour for your group (see Group Tours).
